Lace headband

I've been desperate to craft something: something cute, something fast. And this is what I came up with. I bought elastic lace from etsy for $5 and some fake flowers from Joann's for $2.50 (50% off) I hot glued it all together with some little pearl beads in the center of the flower.

I love how it's feminine and pretty. It took about 5 minutes to make and 5 seconds to put in my hair. On days when I don't have time for make up and forget my deodorant, this little headband makes me smile. Hopefully it makes people at work smile too and assume that anyone who wears cute headbands must surely wear deodorant.

Check out my friend's headband inspirations. I love the one she picked for her wedding day!

Now I've got 9.5 yards of elastic lace left. I could make 18 more headbands....

While I had flowers and hotglue out, I made a few more hair clips for Kaylee.

Is it possible for a girl to have too many hair accessories? She likes to put 5 or 6 of them in at the same time, and sometimes I pretend to put them in, but really sneak them back to the closet. Sometimes I let her wear 5 or 6 at a time....

You know I love this headband, I even commented on it as soon as you showed up to my home! And it definitely makes me think you wear deoderant! :)
