I've seen these taggie ribbon pillows for babies all over the place. They've been on my list of things to make for about 6 months. When my cousin had a baby this month, I knew I finally had a reason to make one. I used scrap fabrics and ribbons from down in my stash. My favorite ones are the thick hot pink satin strips. They are so fun to touch!
P.S. I think I can do a better job with ribbon placement on my next one.....who else is pregnant and wants one? Apparently babies love these things, but I've got no experience. My babies were not ribbon or taggie lovers.....

those are awesome!! Suzie in customer service is pregnant. I think she'd love one! I'll buy the material and pay you for it if you'd like :) She's having a boy!
So cute! I loved tags as a kid...my baby blanket is in perfect condition except for a threadbare tag.
Your pillow turned out great!
This is a great idea. I have seen this taggie idea in toy stores before. Nice that you made one yourself.
Thank Amy!
I love the pin and posted it today and linked you.
I am almost ready to send mine out. This so much fun!
Thanks again,
Beth
That's really cute. My boys were both given Taggies items as gifts, but neither of them were interested. I would guess I would have loved them as a baby or toddler. I always played with all of the edging on blankets. It drove my mom crazy!
adorable but not worth me being pregnant again to get one ;-0

This is the link to the post about the interview. Then in that post is the link to Suzie Button's post about interviewing me.
I am a little confused, what do you mean about not being able to respond to comments? Sorry, you have lost me there. I must be fuzzy in the head or something. LOL! Hope you enjoy the interview post.
Thanks for visiting my blog! That is so cool about you being an interpreter! That is what I would ultimately like to do. I took sign in college for a few years and just loved everything about it. I see we both live in Rochester too!
You okay? You haven't blogged in a while. I am hoping you are off on some exotic vacation...especially during this snowstorm!
My first son played with every tag on everything he could find. So, when they all the cute taggie things came out I was thrilled. My baby girl never played with her taggie blanket at all. I put her in her crib only with that taggie blanket so she is forced to play with it (I have to get my money's worth)
