From Socks to Pants

Aren't these pants CUTE? Someone gave them to me...maybe Lizzy? They don't fit well and never stay put. I couldn't bear to donate them because it's such a fun print.
P.S. This is the 3rd pair of pants I've cut up recently in the name of crafting something fun. Here's my fall pillows and my foam blocks bag. I'm running out of pants, so before you donate clothes to the GoodWill, send them my way. I promise to make something fun out of them....eventually.

There's one pant leg. I didn't measure anything...that's the great part about using striped fabric! The second one I made turned out a different size, (but really who cares? )

I filled it with rice and dried lavender using a funnel. The lavender helps to cancel out the icky smell that comes with microwaving rice.

That's a big rice "thing". I think I'll call it "rice pants". I sent this one to my sister and might keep the second for myself.

Joshua took this picture of me modeling the rice pants. Is 3 a little too young to be using a camera? I don't have a good feeling about it....

At least he got what you wanted to show. And that you showing how to use the rice bag. Cool!

He did a great job! Keep him interested. I let my grand kids (ages 14,9, & 7 at the time) use my camera when we did a family vacation to New Orleans & Mississippi Gulf and they got some great pictures!

P.S. I don't know how to not be anonymous!
