I've decided to keep my scrapbooking supplies in my bedroom. When the sun is shining and the kids are sleeping, this little corner is a SWEET place to be. Messy, but sweet.
Brian helped me bring an old trunk from the basement to our bedroom. It's perfect for stashing hundreds of papers and thousands of stickers.
Before we brought the trunk, I had bags of stuff all over our room for at least a month as I debated on where it should go. Brian didn't notice. Again, this is a very desirable quality in a mate. If it were me, I would have waited about 2 days before asking sweetly for it to BE PICKED UP RIGHT NOW!

Mom bought this trunk at a garage sale for $5 when I was about 15 years old. I was thrilled! It was in bad, BAD shape. I spent the whole summer scraping, sanding, painting it. I absolutely love it, and now it's being put to good use where I can see it every day.
When I had everything stashed away neatly, I called Brian's attention to it. "Look honey! I picked everything up. Doesn't it look better now?"
"Oh. oh. I see...."
"Men!" At least I know my mom will gush over it and tell me what a good job I've done...how happy she is to see I'm using the trunk again. That's her job and I'm glad she's around to do it. Brian's job was to help me haul it up from the basement, and I'm glad he's around to do that too!

That is a "sweet" little scrapbooking nook. I admire people who can take the time to scrapbook!
What a perfect storage solution. Don't you just love it when you can pick up a bargain and transform it into a much cherished piece. It looks fabulous.
Warmest wishes
