This is the face we have been seeing for the past 8 months. She is very serious and watches everything around her without expression. She looks at us like we are crazy. Like all things silly are beneath her. If we increase our antics to be really extradinary, sometimes we'll be rewarded with a little smile. You can be sure we get very excited by this small token of happiness.
However, God just turned her giggle switch "on"! At 8 months old, she is the happiest little thing! She laughs out loud at everything, just like a baby should. Joshua's laughter is so contagious that she gives in without a protest and adds her belly laughs to the commotion. Who can resist a happy baby? We've been crazy about her all along, but the smiles and giggles make her irresistible.
