$6 piece of junk UPCYCLED

Early this spring, I jumped the gun and bought this ice tea pitcher from Walmart. It was $6 and I wanted one right away. I told myself to wait and get a good one at Bed Bath and Beyond, but somehow it made it through the check out line and into my house. Wouldn't you know, it leaked all over the place! If there is anything worse than shopping at Walmart, it's standing in line to return something there. I stuck it down in my basement until inspiration hit, which was last night.

I spray painted it, then taped on some pretty paper.

I didn't even do a good job: Spray paint didn't completely cover the red stripes and the paper wasn't long enough to go around. IDHTBPTBB (It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful) Excluding the sunk cost of $6 piece of junk glass container, this was a free "upcycle" project.

I threw it above my kitchen cabinets where it can take up space for a while.
