Matching Book

I saw an idea ages ago and wanted to make it. Here's the original link with the tutorial I followed. Basically, I just wanted another reason to use my laminator machine. Love that thing.

I printed out two copies of each image, laminating one copy onto folders and the other separately. Magnets on the back help them stick together once matched up.

Kaylee can match up all the butterflies by herself.

Joshua can match up the shapes with a little effort.
I'm a little annoyed that I've brought in yet another game that has more than 25 pieces. I didn't think about that before making it.... more tiny things to float around my house.
The kids seem to like it, so I might look for more shapes to print out and expand the binder. I'll admit: it's kinda a lot of work (albeit brainless work) to cut everything out.

I love how it turned out! You never cease to amaze me with your cleverness. Everyone wins! You got to play with your laminator, and it feels good to be creative no matter what the project, and the kids have something new to play with....hmmm maybe a little less candy land.....make some more shapes!!! love, mom
