Our foyer came with 50 little moose and pine trees marching on top of the chair rail. It was the one thing that I didn't like when we bought the house. I was surprised that Brian said he liked it because he hardly has anything to say about decorating....and then I was even more surprised at the number of visitors who commented on how cute they were. Really? Really? Were they saying that because they thought I put it up there and that's my taste in decorating? Are moose and pine trees really cute? I know my mom loves them, and I think they are appropriate for some places, but I wanted them out! My plan was to put up Joshua's art work in frames along those walls, but I'm loving those de-cluttered walls and can't bear to put anything else up yet.

Ha! Congratulations on becoming moose-free! Yeah, I'm not really a moose/pine tree gal, either. :)
Moose and pine trees might be cute in a cabin or a cabin/lodge themed room for a little boy. In the foyer...probably not at the top of my list for decorating ideas either. :)

I did like the moose but you are right it didn't go with the rest of the house. So did you paint over them? or repaint the whole wall???
Moose be gone! I am not a rustic pine tree moose kinda girl either.
