I love this thing. I use it to slice up sandwiches, waffles, pizza, hamburgers, pancakes, tortillas and other stuff I give to the kids. I finally broke down and bought a second one so that I can rotate them through the dishwasher.
Do you have any duplicate kitchen tools? Years ago, my friend Dana had 2 of those huge Kitchen Aid blenders when she was first married. They must have been wedding gifts... I thought that was so funny in her itsy bitsy apartment kitchen. (How long did you keep 2, Dana?)
What do you deem important enough to take up space TWICE in your cupboards?

Um yeah i do and it is the oxo pizza cutter :) for all the same reasons as you....we actually accidentally tossed our first one away in the pizza box we think as we could never find it :)
I checked. I have 2 sets of measuring cups and spoons. I also have 2 vegetable peelers but that's because once I couldn't find mine, until after I bought a replacement!
I use my pizza cutter constantly also! Its great for pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, etc. I keep extra potato mashers to use when I make jam and have to crush fruit, as I'll often make several batches at once. Extra cutting boards as well...you can never have enough of those : ) Oh! And extra peelers for making applesauce.
Great idea! I DO still have two kitchen aids. :) Not the same two though. I kept one from before and Peter had one. I keep thinking that maybe one day I'll have a cookie party or something where a bunch of us will have both whirring away. Hey, why not, I have an extra oven in the basement too! That was pretty smart of the last owner... when they redid the kitchen they hooked up the old oven in the basement. I often use it when entertaining. Other kitchen tool duplicates, hmm... can't think of any as interesting as the pizza wheel thing!

I have 3 rubber spatulas. Well worth it. Several cutting boards. I use one for meat and the rest for veggies/fruits/breads etc. I have 2 dough cutters for when I'm making multiple pies.
