My favorite summer dish

I should have posted this picture for the 4th of July! Look at that perfect combination of red, white and blue colors. We eat this beautiful dish of vanilla yogurt and fruit almost every day. I'll never get tired of it and I can't think of anything else I'd rather eat to start off my day!

Do you have anything that you eat more of during the summer months?

Mmmmm. That looks good and you get an A+ for the presentation! I do eat a lot more fresh blueberries in the summer. Unfortunately, I think I may eat more ice cream in the summer. ??? I'm not sure because I eat so much all year long.

Ohhh. Watermelon.

In general I eat less during the summer (but the weather we're having today is more fall-like, so I can keep munching away!), but I buy more fruit, just because now they are available. Cherries, peaches, nectarines,... can't get these during wintertime. You can get strawberries, but then they're imported and either cost a lot or don't taste quite the same as the ones that grow locally.

That looks devine! In general I eat a lot more salads in the summer time... I get all creative with cransins and oranges and poppyseed dressing... plus I eat out a lot more. I love sitting outside in a lil' bistro or cafe kind of resturant. Winter time is no good for that at all.
