"If you build it, they will come"
Can you name that movie? Something about baseball, I think.
Right now I've got more snowflakes inside my house than out in the yard.
I don't mind the mild winter we've had, but the kids do.
I saw a tutorial for Popsicle snowflakes over on Crafty Nest and loved the simplicity.
I used just 3 things for this project:
Popsicle sticks
Glue Gun
White paint
I sure didn't use the protractor that they recommend. IDHTBPTBB
And I didn't use any pretty ribbon or fishing line to hang them up. (packageing tape held them up just fine)
Years ago, I sat with some paper and itty bitty scissors to cut out paper snowflakes. I made about two dozen very intricate cuttings, following patters from Dave's Paper Snowflake Patterns. Every year I tape them up to a window and then carefully take them down when I'm ready for spring. Over the years some have been ruined, but I really can not imagine sitting down with those scissors and a stack of paper EVER AGAIN. It was like a once in a lifetime craft, I guess.

Your popsicle snowflakes are cute! So are the paper ones. I can see why that was probably a one time deal to make those. That is a lot of work.
