Dress to Skirt

 

The Good:   awesome colors and design, soft and flowy

The Bad:  Weird neckline, requires a strapless bra (BLAH…enough to discourage me from wearing it)

The Ugly:  the shirred waist falls right under my bust, which would be perfect if I was pregnant.   But…I’m not. 

 

I bought this dress for Sara’s bridal shower last year.  See the strange neckline?

I thought about it for a few days, and then just started chopping away at the waistband.

 

After some stitching around the waistline and (cringe) some hot glue gun action in a few stubborn places, I now present to you:  a SKIRT.

I think I’ll like wearing it lower on my waist with different tops and cardigans.
