I made the kids these Thanksgiving t-shirts. I'm not usually into "themes". You won't find Dora or Thomas in my kid's wardobes. BUT, these are just cute. (right?)
I did the reverse applique thing, following this tutorial. Joshua and Kaylee provided the hand shape template. Joshua and I glued those buttons on using Fabri-Tack. You better believe I'm nervous about washing those shirts. I really hope I remember not to put them in the drier, or I'll be picking buttons out of that machine for a month.
I might make a shirt for myself. I have a brown t-shirt hanging out in my closet. It's not very flattering to a post pardom tummy, but maybe a turkey would distract from my middle section. I can't decide if it would be cute or tacky to be matchy-matchy with my kids...
