Hot pink outfit

I made this little tee and matching skirt last night for our baby "L". (Can you believe Brian still won't commit to a name. You can ask Joshua what he's going to call her though and I'm 99% certain that's what we'll go with!)

I've made at least 16 embellished baby tees this summer, and finally got around to one for my own newborn. Now I'm ready! I bought 2 yards of that hideous pink fabric at a yard sale this summer for $1. It's really nice quality linen....but the color! oh my. That is H.O.T. pink. For some reason I decided to cut off a little piece and make a simple skirt to match the onsie. I have no idea if it's going to look ridiculous on her. It'll probably end up on one of Kaylee's dolls. But it was fun to make something from scratch.

10 days till she's due, plus unknown overtime.

OH, I love it, including the color! I think it will be adorable, and you will be proud to see her wear it because you made it with love. Good job mom!
I was hoping for her to be born in September so you could have another birthday present!

So cute! I am in disbelief that your due date is approaching so quickly! Whoa! I was always a pregnant woman who wanted to stay pregnant as long as possible. Are you feeling that way, or would you rather she come earlier? I am so excited for you and hope that it all goes exactly as planned, Amy Jo. I hope you will update us here and on FB when you can! :)
