Well, fast forward 4 years, and I have a little girl who likes to color on my walls. Nothing, NOTHING gets out crayon marks! I broke down and bought some magic erasers. Why hasn't anyone told me about this? Not only did the crayon marks dissapear, but my banged up walls look brand new. Places that I planned on painting are now scratch free. AWESOME.
I've rolled my eyes at the bulk size Magic Erasers at Sam's Club, but I can tell you now I'm grabbing that 32 pack next time I see it.
This works for me! Check out other WFMF ideas.

I had no idea about the horrible reputation of the Magic Eraser; I only know that I love it and would kiss that Mr. Clean on his bald head if he'd let me. :)
Magic Erasers are wonderful. And the chemical burn thing isn't true. It is an abrasive (so it is like sandpaper) and if you rub it on a kid it is going to take off their skin.
You also need to be careful what you use them on. They work well because they sand off the top layer of stuff! So don't use them on things like granite or anything with a coating or glaze like ceramic sinks. It will dull them.
Thank you for the reminder about this product! I have crayon marks on my office wall and will be giving this a try. Gotta go update that grocery list now . . .
