Big boy towels

I know I'm the last person in the whole world to get around to making hooded towels. What? You haven't made one yet? Go do it! Search "hooded towel tutorial" and you'll find directions. It's a very easy, satisfying project.
I really like the fabric around the band of the towel. I should do this to all my towels.
After 10 years of randomly looking for nice towels, I have found one that I love. From Walmart, of all places. ugh. They are Better Homes and Gardens and about $8. I bought 2 blue towels and one hand towel that I cut in half for the hoods.

It's a tad big, but so much better than those thin baby hooded towels. And towels last forever, right? He'll be using this till he's 18. I promise to buy him new towels when he goes to college.
