A splash of red

I really wanted a bit of red on my front door for Valentine's Day. I haven't really seen any great Valentine's wreaths out there, not that I get out much to check out what's available. I also didn't want to spend any money (of course!) I got an empty grapevine wreath from my basement, covered all those twigs up with quilt batting and started tying red ribbons and red fabric strips all over it.
I'm not crazy about how it looks up close because it's all raggedy-like. But I do like the punch of color from the road, so it'll do for the next 10 days or so!

The wreath looks great - your house too! Thanks for visiting my blog... If you are really interested in learning how to free motion quilt there are some tutorials I linked to in my last post. You should try it - it's really not too hard!
