Handmade with Love

On Christmas morning, my mom and her husband came through the door bearing presents....LOTS of PRESENTS! I was impressed at the hand made items they made for my kids and figured you would be too. John made the baby crib and my mom sewed that precious little baby doll, pillow, mattress, clothes and quilt.

Kaylee loves to put her baby to "Ni-Ni". She spent about an hour on Christmas morning playing with this. I never thought she'd give much attention to a baby doll, but boy was I wrong! Yippee! I have a girly-girl!

My mom and John started this horse about 3 years ago for Joshua. They ran into some issues with the legs and it got put away while they moved down to Charlotte, and then back up to NY. It made it's grand appearance this year and it is AMAZING! Both kids love clamouring up onto his back and Joshua has been known to let out a "YEE-HAW!"
I think these presents are awesome because they are uniquely made with love and are the type of gift that will become an heirloom.

That is awesome! I love the gifts. They will definitely be special for a long time to come. And when they outgrow the horse, then it can become part of your decor. Happy New Year!
