The next time I went to the store I grabbed one of those pretty little fruits, because I am nothing if not a copy cat. It was $2.50 and I needed a challenge. I googled how to peel it and then Joshua and I opened that baby up. It was really fun, like a treasure hunt. Those little fruit pellets are GORGEOUS, like little jewels! We put them in a bowl and I tasted one.
It wasn't very tasty. Certainly not tasty enough to endure all the seeds.
I meant to google ideas of how to use a pomegranate, but somehow that never happened. The red jewels sat in a glass bowl for a week on my counter. I made sure they were good and rotten before I threw them out. At least I got one step farther than the lady who wrote the article!

You are so cute! We are having one for Christmas served with
*Fresh Salad Greens
*roasted pistachios
*The recipe calls for feta cheese/ we use Havarti as my hubby's taste buds calls for a more mild cheese.
Pomagrante seeds sprinkled over all.
Divide the greens and sprinkle the nuts, cheese and seeds all the greens on each salad plate. Drizzle with Marzetti's light Rasberry Pomegrante Vinaigrette dressing.
It is yummy:)
I popped in to wish you a very Merry Christmas and also to your precious family.
Mmmmm.... I love the way they taste!
Silly, silly girl...shoulda brought them into SNAP! I love them! They are very pretty in fruit salad too. You are SO crafty! I'm getting ideas from you page (even though it may take years before I actually *try* your ideas)...haha. :)
