My general rule of thumb for life is to do things the easiest way possible that still gets good results. So what in the world am I doing measuring my cookie dough? 3 1/2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide. TIMES 5 DOZEN!!!

I guess that was a lot of work. I made Finnish pinwheel cookies one Christmas. It was so much work, I never made those again either.
Yum, those look delicious! I've never thought to make them in long strips like that. I'm going to an exchange in a couple weeks. Maybe I'll take on a big project like you did :).
Ok, so I love how you explain the process and then say, "They do look pretty cute but I'm never making them again." You didn't even say what they taste like! Are they just sugar cookies? ~Erin
