I decided that this lamp would be better used in the guest room . It has great lines and I thought some spray paint would cover up the blue accents real quick. My plan was to spray the base black and the shade white.
Turns out..... you can't really spray fabric. Who knew? My first mistake was grabbing a can of cream spray paint instead of white. It couldn't cover the blue strip of fabric around the edges anyway. The base of the lamp looks awesome, though! I'm trying to decide what to do about replacing the shade.
