Yup. My kids really can't resist peanuts either. They are actually a pain to clean up because of the static and because if I don't catch it soon enough, they start ripping them to pieces! Ugh! Dan and I are now much better about disposing of peanuts ASAP!
Oh my! What fun that must have been to clean up. One way I use them is to fill pots about a third full with them and then add the dirt. Makes the pots lighter and to drain better, plus the potting soil I buy goes further.
