Joshua is crazy about matching card games. He can turn just about any card game into some form of matching. I decided to make my own set using Creative Memory paper punches and scrap paper. The white background paper is printer paper, and I laminated them before cutting them out.
This set is a birthday present for Leah, who is #6 on Joshua's best friend list. (mommy is #1, can you believe it!) Her entire set is different color hearts. This is a girl who got 8 baby dolls for Christmas and has every toy I could think of buying. I figured that a homemade present might be something different, and Joshua can't wait to play it with her.

This is a perfect gift! thanks for sharing too!! I appriciate it!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today and leaving some comment love! (Now I was able to find your adorable blog!) Seriously, I just browsed through the first few pages of your blog...I'll be back! :)
As I was reading your blog, I noticed you commented on a few other things...
Yes, I do live down south (Texas). We had 80 degree weather yesterday, 30's today! So random...some days are still great for spray painting out doors.
Cute flowers for hair clippies: check the scrapbook section in your craft store or just buy some silk flowers and pull them off the stems. Both work great!
I LOVE your post about "Pay it Forward". I've already starting writing a post and I'll link back to you with the idea. SO cool! What I also really like about it is that I NEVER win blog giveaways...and now the 1st three people will be guaranteed to win. :)
You are cracking me up with your comments! Do you have a "subscribe" button? I can't seem to locate it...
Someone was just telling me about using the Mickey Mouse paint chips from Home Depot as "memory cards". Don't think I could bring myself to take that many though...

This is a great idea! This would be a great project to do with my patients. Then the game is good at a table for standing balance activities. At work we have that kind of table we can raise and lower like a chair in the beauty salon does. I can do sitting or standing tasks with patients that way.
Very cute idea!
