I tore an article out of a magazine because I really liked this poem. It was posted in the cancer ward of a hospital, but I think it applies to every hard/ horrible situation in life.

Cancer is so limited.
It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot destroy peace.
Cancer cannot kill friendships.
It cannot suppress memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot invade the soul.
It cannot steal eternal life.
And it cannot conquer the spirit.
