"I think Grace will be a pet groomer when she grows up." Brian, after catching her with fistfuls of cat hair and seeing her face light up when the cats walk past.
"I love being here with you." Joshua said to me as we snuggled early in the morning. "But as soon as Ethan (cousin)wakes up, I'm going to go play sonic with him.
"You smell like an airplane." Me to Brian after he took the red-eye flight home. "And you smell wonderful" was his reply.
"Daddy won again. Maybe when I am 20-hundred years old I can defeat him! Or maybe just 20 years old." Joshua. (I can't remember what they were playing, but I thought it was funny that he used the word "defeat".)
"I like your glasses. I want to wear glasses when I'm a mommy too!" Kaylee to me.
"I need your help. You can either nurse the baby or give the kids some lunch" Me to Brian. I like making it sound like he had a choice.
Totally out of the blue Joshua said, "Your Aunt is 10 million, 8 thousand big."
Whaaaaaat? Who are you talking about and what do you mean by big? Size or age?
He laughed, "Aunt Cathy is only 20 years old, but she's 10 million, 8 thousand big". My aunt will be happy to hear the first part, but probably just as disturbed as I am about the second.
"That's a pretty bra. I wish I could wear a bra too." Kaylee
"I love this computer!" Me, every single day. Brian bought me my very own "All in One" computer. Sharing is over-rated.
“Ba Ba Ba Ba” Grace, when she’s doing her pouty, pathetic cry.
Me: How are you doing, Grandpa?
Him: I’m hot.
(It was 90 degrees and 100%humid at our cousins outdoor wedding)
Him: But now I’ve got 2 hot girls sitting next to me!

A fun post! Your kids are so cute! And they say sometimes cute things. I to wonder about that 1 million something or other comment from your son. :-) I also cracked up at your Grandpa's comment too.
Hope all is well with you!
Linnea
i love it when you post these... this will be the kind of thing the kids will read over as they grow. They will have a chance to get to know the little people they don't remember being.
