Remember the canvas I got for $3 last summer at a garage sale? I covered it up with fabric which was lovely, but I really wanted it to look more finished with a huge frame around it. I saw something like that in hotel in Las Vegas. Over Thanksgiving, my step dad helped me get this finished. I told him what I wanted then stood around watching him put it all together for me. I'm so happy with how it turned out!
He's moving to Kuwait, so my list of projects is going to be put on hold for a while. General Electric asked him to take a 2 year assignment in Kuwait to interface with the government as they are building a plant for the first time in that country. My mom is moving there with him, but with the promise of 4 plane tickets home per year. She's got too many grand kids (9) to leave the country for very long!
