mirror make over
We bought this dresser for Kaylee a few months back. I love the girly-ness of it. We didn't purchase the mirror because I knew that I'd be changing dirty diapers ontop of that dresser for a couple of years. And becuase it is $250. I was planning on buying it when she turned 3 or so. And then I found this mirror at a garage sale for $10.
I unscrewed the backing off it so I could spray paint it. Turns out that humidity and spray paint don't really go together. It got all gunky, so I sanded it and re-sprayed a few times. This is the hardest thing I've ever spray painted, and it's been in my garage for over a week as I fiddle around with it. What do you think? Will it be close enough to that $250 beauty?
Love the girly dresser, and I can't believe that pretty mirror was only $10! Your garage sale finds amaze me. You are just so creative and crafty! :)

ReplyDeleteHave you tried the Krylon Fusion spray paint for plastic, metal, wicker, etc on that mirror?
