baby blanket

This is the blanket I made for M.'s baby girl. Basically I slapped 2 cute pieces of flannel together. I sewed about 15 straight lines on the stripes to hold them together. (note to self-striped fabric is awesome to work with!) I wanted that eggplant color for the binding, so I had to make the strips myself. ugh....satin is not fun to work with. I appliqued that little heart in the corner and was done!
